Somebody’s Podcasts

I'm currently in the midst of planning a social event in NYC for people either currently in library school or contemplating applying to library school. I created this podcast as a means of both advertising the event as well as trying to recruit other librarians who would be interested in sharing their experiences with aspiring librarians. I'm trying to develop an event that I really could have benefited from as a student but couldn't find!

The event will happen on a weekend day in mid-to-late January, and I'm hoping it will be on the Lower East Side. More details soon!

Welcome to the podcast component of my blog, Somebody's Autobiography! The open source audio recording software Audacity has inspired me to rethink my approach to blogging in terms of content delivery. Specifically, I realize that different people access their information in different ways, and as a librarian I wish to expand my options. Instead of solely writing blog posts several times per week, I have decided to incorporate podcasts as well.
